In the soul crushing machine that is the Wharf – the big, grey suited zombie apocalypse (I’m joking – I enjoy working in Canary Wharf) – restaurants have long given up on trying to produce food and stuck to just producing slush that contains, I presume, nutrients. Crussh is basically just another chain, because we really needed more of these on this little island of steel and glass.

At times I do believe I must be masochistic to keep eating out during my lunches in Canary Wharf. In truth Crussh isn’t all that bad, but it doesn’t really have much of a taste going for it either. Dubbed as “health food”, the options are also quite limited. A regular Sausage & Bean hotpot sells for 3.35£ yet only has 271 calories – which is around 10% of what I need on a daily basis. Probably great if you’re trying to lose weight, but if you are looking for a filling meal (let alone bulking up) this is not the place for you.
