Christmas by myself

Christmas by myself

Santa baby, slip a Rolex under the tree. For me. I’ve been an awful good guy.

Santa buddy, and hurry down the chimney tonight!

There has been jolly baking and merriment to welcome the GREAT HOLY CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS! Now, if you know me, you know I love Christmas. It’s just such an amazing season and holiday. Baking stuff, eating loads, snow, presents, merry faces everywhere!

Soaking dried fruits

Certainly, a more peculiar Christmas for me. No family, me being a bit of a distance away. 30+ degrees outside. And inside. Which makes it a bit difficult for me to accept Christmas has come indeed. It is unholy! Pagan! Christmas is in winter. Baby Jesus was born with snow falling gently outside. This side of the world is simply a complete heresy. But I do what I can.

At least I have baked goods and presents (tho not many 🙁 )! Now, many people seem to have all sorts of problems with Christmas, from it being too commercial to it being a boring day. To all of you, Bah humbug! Sure, my Christmas has become (and will continue to evolve, no doubt) to be a tradition that involves family, and gifts, lots of gifts, and I could not give a rat’s ass if that is commercial or not. It is a holiday that makes me feel good! I enjoy buying presents and I enjoy spending money.

Stolen spirals

In store for tomorrow I have lot’s of heavenly sleep, planning my Trip to Japan and Vietnam and wasting lots of time before returning to my daily routine.

On that note, I wish you all, my blog readers, a very Merry Christmas!

  1. Christmas is awesome, but gets a bit gloomy when presents can’t be bought due to low funds. (My issue with Christmas– instead of gifts I give apologies.)

Have a great day, in the heat (so jealous). 🙂
