Le Pain Quotidien (65 Tottenham Court Rd, London, W1T 2ET)
Saturday proved to be a pleasant day in rainy London – it stopped raining. Woke up earlier so that we could get our grubby hands on the Kate Bush release but fate seemed to be against us and we kinda woke up a bit too late. (So I accept any such donations as Kate Bush limited editions stuff).
Went for some coffee and cake afterwards – and it was time I tried Le Pain Quotidien for the first time. Always passed this little coffee chain by and wanted to try it. The coffee is very good and I love how everything is served, makes things seem very light and welcoming. I myself had some cheesecake which, whilst it was very good tasting, it was a bit too much and it kinda makes you sick if you eat too much. Good, but perhaps smaller portions would be better (in the absence of a genuinely good cook that can make moreish food).
So this is Neil, the boyfriend. I could go on and on about how awesome he is, but let’s face it, y’all just want some eyecandy.
