Leaving aside the horrendous weather that London goes through, and the very late hours I wake up at (fine, call me lazy), I somehow managed to wake up to meet my friend Joe for brunch (his lunch and my breakfast).
I always tell myself I don’t go through Camden enough, so found this to be a great opportunity to explore where I actually live (yes, I live in Camden, bring on the hate).
The prices are not necessarily the most accessible (my English Breakfast was about 8 quid) but I think the price/value ratio is quite good. The ambiance is nice and relaxing, with a very friendly staff and a well-put menu.
The bacon was simply amazing. Best bacon I had. Somehow grilled or such, not oily at all and simply with the best consistency. The potato cake was also quite good – all in all too much food for me.
